Holly Rudel, a doctoral student in the Zimmerman lab, has been awarded the American Water Works Association (AWWA) Larson Aquatics Research Scholarship for Doctoral Studies. This awards provides support for “outstanding students preparing for careers in the fields of science or engineering.” Holly’s research focuses on understanding the structure-function relationship of nanoscale metal oxides for use in advanced drinking water treatment technologies.
